      That game version was for the Reaper’s Rewards Event Patch which didn't break most mods, hence, WW didn't release an update for that. You can try WW v182b for game version 1.110.265 coz usually, when they don't update the mod, it means it's compatible with the game version at that time.

      Can you send me a screenshot of your Mods folder and what's inside the WW folder? Please don't crop out the location/path of your Mods folder in the screenshot.       Hi! That game version was for the Reaper’s Rewards Event Patch which didn't break most mods, hence, WW creator Turbodriver didn't need to update the mod as they deemed it compatible with the game version at that time. You can try WW v182b for game version 1.110.265 which was the game version before the Reaper's Rewards Event Patch.

    I have downloaded the WickedWhims v176h (2 September 2023) for Supported Game Versions 1.98-1.99. However, when I play The Sims, my Sims are unresponsive every time I ask them to do something. Do you have any idea why this is happening, and how I can fix it?

      Hello,

      I believe I have followed all the instructions regarding the known issues, but I’m still receiving a notice saying, "Error reporting file wickedwhims_exception." Additionally, whenever I ask my Sims to do something, they just stand still and do nothing. Currently, my game version is 1.98.127. What does this mean? Do you have any idea how I can resolve this issue?

      Just to add, I have tried all versions from 1.98 to 1.99, but they all give the error "Fatal Error - Rig Conflict." I don’t have any other mods installed besides WickedWhims, and I have already tested it without any other mods. Still, my Sims won’t do anything when I try to command them

      1) Have you tried WW v176c? It has 1.98.127 listed in the compatible game versions.
      2) You said you only have WickedWhims, but did you also install animations?
      3) Do you have custom contents installed?
      4) Do you delete the localthumbcache file religiously?
      5) Does the issue happen even without mods/CCs at all?
      6) What types of actions were you trying to make your sims do (ex. cook, use toilet, sing, dance, etc.)?

      And oh...how should I address you instead of just "anonymous"? 😊

    Yes, I have CC installed, but I’ve already tried running the game with CC, and it still didn’t work.

    Yes, I delete the localthumbcache file every time I add mods and before starting the game.

    Yes, I’ve already tried playing without any mods or CCs, but the issue persists.
    6) What types of actions were you trying to make your Sims do (e.g., cook, use the toilet, sing, dance, etc.)?
    I was trying to make my Sims cook, bathe, and move to specific locations, but they didn’t respond.

      Hi, Shasa! If the issue is happening even without any mods/CCs, then it's most likely a legit game bug or a corrupt save. To rule out corrupt save, you would need to do a folder refresh/factory reset: https://www.simsationalchannel.com/2023/08/how-to-reset-your-game-without.html. If it keeps happening even after the refresh/reset, then it's safe to say that it is a legit game bug indeed. One way to fix it is to repair or update your game. Is there a particular reason why you have opted not to update your game? I ask because the other option is to uninstall and reinstall your game which would update your game to the latest version if you're using the EA App. The only other option I can think of is to reach out to EA Support, but they would also be wondering why you haven't updated your game and would probably suggest you do.

      Yes, you’re right it's legit the game bug. I’ve already tried refreshing/resetting as you suggested, but my Sims are still stuck (without any mods/CC and even wickedwhims). I think I’ll try reinstalling again. Just so you know, the reason I haven’t updated is because my Mac’s storage is almost full, so I’m sticking with this version for now. But thanks for this anyway!

      I see. Have you looked into using an external hard drive as additional storage? It's not the ideal setup, but for those who are unable to upgrade computer storage yet, it's an alternative. Anyway, I hope reinstalling the game works. Good luck!

    Hey, just adding some updated info. I’ve already downloaded version WW v176c, and there’s no longer any rig or error appearing. However, my Sims are still unresponsive. They can’t cook, bathe, move to locations, sleep, or do anything at all.

      So sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure what's causing your issue, but it seems like a legit game bug. I did a little Google search and EA Support's solution is to reset your sim: https://help.ea.com/en/help/the-sims/the-sims-4/how-to-reset-stuck-and-unresponsive-sims-in-the-sims-4/.     When was your game version released? If none matches the WW versions, try the closest one to your game version like the one for August or November 2018.
