GAME ISSUE: Other Households Won't Load

If your other households in The Sims 4 won't load, it's usually due to issues with custom content (CC) or mods, a corrupted save file, or a problem with the specific lot they live on. Check for mods and CC:

Move your mods folder to your desktop temporarily to see if the issue persists without custom content. 

Check for outdated or incompatible CC that might be causing conflicts. 

Consider updating your mods to the latest versions. 

Examine your save file:

Backup your save game before making any changes. 

Try loading a different save file to see if the problem is specific to one save. 

If you have multiple saves, delete the "localthumbcache.package" file from your Sims 4 folder. 

Investigate the lot:

Enter build mode on the problematic lot and try bulldozing and rebuilding the house. 

Evict the household from their lot and move them to a new one to see if the issue is with the specific location. 

Check Active Cloud Storage:
If you have an active cloud storage like OneDrive, your files might be syncing or stored there instead of in your local hard drive, hence, your game cannot locate them. It is recommended to backup important files you have on OneDrive and completely uninstall it.

Other troubleshooting steps:

• Repair your game: Use the repair option in your game launcher to check for and fix any corrupted game files. 
• Update your game: Make sure you have the latest version of The Sims 4 installed. 
• Check for game conflicts: Close any unnecessary background applications that might interfere with the game.
