How To Reset Origin

If you're having trouble with Origin crashing on your Mac, there's a handy solution called the Reset Origin tool that might help fix it quickly and easily.

Here are the steps to use it:

Download the Reset Origin tool.

Open a Finder window and go to your Downloads folder.

Look for ResetOrigin.zip and double-click it. This will expand the file.

Inside the expanded window, double-click the ResetOrigin file. A dialog box will appear.

Click the Reset Origin button. You may need to enter your Administrator password to confirm.

Enter your password and click OK to begin the reset process. 

Once the reset is complete, you'll receive a confirmation message indicating that your Origin preferences and cache files have been deleted. 

Click OK to close the tool.
Afterward, download the newest version of Origin for Mac and install it.
