Fed up with strangers interrupting your conversations? Annoyed when random Sims ask to hang out with someone you barely know? Confused by new acquaintances immediately asking to be your best friend? Then the Less Intrusive Sims mod is for you!
Formerly known as Less Intrusive Conversations, this refreshed version comes with added features. Please note that if you have the previous mod installed, you must remove it before installing this one.
This script modifies Sims’ social behavior so that strangers no longer join your ongoing conversations without an invitation. You can now enjoy a quiet moment with your date without unwanted interruptions, while Sims you haven't met will still try to interact without disrupting your conversation. Friends will continue to join in naturally, allowing social groups to form as usual.
Additionally, Sims you’re less familiar with will no longer ask to hang out or go on a date unprompted, giving you clearer context about who’s interacting with you. Newly met Sims also won’t immediately ask to be your best friend or partner, giving you time to get to know them better.
This mod doesn’t prevent social groups from forming, stop strangers from initiating conversations, or block Sims from asking for advice or advancing relationships—it simply makes social interactions a little less intrusive.
