Update 09/05/2023: Kit Filters, Gallery Server Updates and More!

This update includes several enhancements and fixes for The Sims 4 game:

What's New:

• Filters in Build Mode and Create-a-Sim now allow filtering of individual Kits, offering more customization options.
• Some Gallery features and fixes can now be delivered directly through Gallery Server updates, reducing maintenance downtime and enabling quicker releases.
• A new Gallery Server section in the release notes explains updates and fixes that have been implemented this way.

Bug Fixes (Base Game):

• Duplicate items no longer appear in the Gallery when browsing creations.
• Reporting a comment in the Gallery hides only the comment, not the entire upload.
• Reported Comments can be hidden with the "Hide Reported Content" setting in Game Options > Other.
• Favoriting items in the Gallery correctly displays the green heart icon even after game restarts or local file deletion.
• Parenting-related issues, such as Baby Envy, have been addressed.

Bug Fixes (Console):

• Simmers using a controller can now use Free Cam and zoom the camera without affecting game speed.
• A confirmation of control layout is provided when in Free Cam.

Bug Fixes (Gallery Server):

• Trending Hashtags have been reenabled.
• Download and Favorite counts now display accurately.
• Searching for Gallery creations by EA Account ID returns expected results.
• Web Gallery commenting has been re-enabled for those browsing the Gallery online.
• Searching by Item Name has been improved for better accuracy and relevance.

City Living:

• Sims pursuing book writing can now submit their work to literary digest via the mailbox.
• Mailboxes in Snowy Escape also accept publication requests.

Growing Together:

• Fundamental skills no longer reset to level 1 after maxing out.
• Groups of Sims can now play in the water together on splash pads and water emitters.

High School Years:

• Track names in the "Alternative" music category have been corrected.

Horse Ranch:

• Reins no longer move unexpectedly when adult Sims are on a horse with reins down.

Realm of Magic:

• Morgyn Ember will now use their preferred They/Them pronouns in new game saves if The Sims 4 is set to English.

My Wedding Stories:

• Corrected tagging for footwear (yfShoes_GP11WedgeHeels_SolidMauve).

Simtimates Collection:

• Improved fitting for ymTop_SP38BraSheer for female Sims with a masculine body frame.
