1) Open Steam, click on Library, right-click on The Sims 4 game icon, choose Properties:
2) Select LOCAL FILES tab:
3) Click VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES:
4) Let Steam run the validation and wait until it is finished. This usually takes less than a minute:
This means your game files are okay, or... |
This means some of your game files may be corrupt or broken. Just let Steam reacquire the files and wait until it completes it. |
6) Launch the game and see if the issue is fixed. If not, you may need to do a FACTORY RESET of your game.
